Have you ever heard somebody, while rhyming eleven corresponding syllables in two lines, weave a ridiculously coherent and thought-provoking story? It makes me quiver and shake inside. The way that many artists play with words, both grammatically and metaphorically, is often unbelievable. Therefore it disappoints me greatly that you have made the choice to oust an entire (and enormous) genre of music from your life. From what I've seen in the past you appear to analyze music with reason and listen intelligently (though I have not always agreed with your choices), discerning with thought-and not purely emotion-what you like or do not like. Not only have your signatures made it blatantly clear that you do think "rap" is terrible, but you've just suggested that a hip-hop artist cannot be a genius in his field. Im not saying that rap is crap or something similar, so please, sit back and shhhhhh It's on a DVD called Thug Angel, it shows an interview where he was 17, it was recorded exactly one week before pac became homeless. Later he dropped out of school, cause of the stuff with his mom and dealin drugs.Īlso pac wasn't really a school kinda guy, he said like why do they teach us gym, when dont they they teach us:Īnd more things like that, I dont remember exactly what he said He started a anti gun campaigne at school, and made his first rap song about his friend. Then his best friend at school got killed.
